« Historical summary of the origin of the Farang Warriors»

Korea was divided in three main Kingdoms: "Koguryu, Paetchek and Silla" (Kaya was a reign that existed, for a few time).

However, during the Silla Dinasty that lasted among "57 B.C up to 935 A.C", King Ching Hung in 540 A.C created one classe of Warriors, the Farang hat lasted about of "900 years" even about 1400 A.C, crossing the Koryu Dynasty (935 B.C-1400 A.C).

In the Wi Dinasty (1400 A.C - 1900 A.C) the Farang lost his Power, due a political and philosophy of the State, in that way, they defended that the Militar Power it  was not necessary, (in the case of the Farang,  there Power was very big in this Time; they were just below the King and some Nobles), due to this Military and Political weakness of the country, the  Japan took advantage of the situation in 1910 to take ownership of the power of Korea, occupying the territory even about 1945, in the end of the 2nd World war.

«Main Function of the Farang Warriors»
The Government of this height was interested in creating a National Image of Value, a Model, an Example to proceed for the People (Rang Do - the ones that follow ).
But before they appear Wharang or Farang, they began first to train a Group of Women, the Won Wa, that they were chosen by  finger… (the Most beautiful, Agile, Intelligent, Talented, etc...); but however they gave up the idea when one of them with envy, murdered another Won Wa, that was too one  of the most talented of the Group.
Then they decided tomake a selection with Mens (Horsemen, Archers, Sons of Nobles and Farang Warriors, etc....).

The government of that time trained them in everything that was related with Arts of Combat (Sword (Jang Gum), Archery (Kung Sul), Cavalry, Cirrum (Wrestling), Tae Kyon (Art of Fighting with only the Legs (Jok Sul), Subak (System of Boxing of Hands, Kwon Bop), etc.....)

Everything that was related with the Military Aspect; but besides this whole physical training, they also studied: (Poetry, Dances, Literature, Music, History, Writing, Classic Books as: Tao Te Ching (The Book of the Way and of the Virtue, Chinese Classic of Lao Tzu), Shu-Ching (Book of History), Shi Shing (Book of Music and Poetry, I-Ching (Book of the Changes), Li-Ching (Book of Etiquette), etc…

Besides everything, they studied the Oriental Arts of Cure (based on the 5 Elements: Water, Wood, Fire, Earth and Metal), which were essential for her Curriculum; they knew how to cure and how to kill in a faster and perfect way using this elements.

The Meditation and the Way of Life were something in that they based with base on Philosophies of Great Masters as: (Confucianism-Master Khan, Confúcio or Kung Futzi; Buddhism-Siddartha Gautama and Lao Tsu's Taoism).
Two Farangs in that time (Chi Wihang and Kwi San) with lack of something that guides them, they wondered for a Code of Ethics and of Conduct to the Monk Won Kwon Bopsa, which Created the Farang Do Meng Sae.  Than Farang of the Silla Dynasty  gathered forces with the Tang Dinasty (China) and they unified the Coreans Kingdoms, defeating the Kingdoms of Koguryu and Paetchek, creating an Era of Prosperity, The Golden Age, this Era of Beauty came to give a stability and Peace to the Country, with growth and development in areas as: economy, work, poetry, music, monuments, art, culture, painting, writing, medicine, etc...)
